ARCHEOSOFICA

Archeosofica” is an esoteric school, inner and profound, a Study Center and, for those who wish it, also a non-profit cultural association (Archeosophical Society) which prepares, guides and perfects its followers towards the knowledge of themselves, of the higher worlds and  of God, thanks to the investigation and development of new senses, called “spiritual senses”, and leads them to High Initiation.

THE INITIATIC TRADITION

We close this introduction with an ardent prayer: read, examine our booklets without preconceptions, with serene soul, with vigilant mind, and above all with humility and love, because with humility and love we have written to you, with humility and love we are looking for you, with humility and love we are working for you, to prepare the way for the Lord who must return. And with us there is always John, the Prophet of the Apocalypse, to whom Jesus left the task of developing the esoteric and invisible Ecclesia, discontinuous and ardent like the fire, instituted on the Calvary when John was made son of the Virgin Mary and brother of Christ, and confirmed on the lake of Tiberias. To Peter was entrusted the flock and the martyrs (lambs), but to John the more evolved humanity with the command of remaining until his return. (John, XXI, 4.25). What return? The end of the times! Those which must still come. John was the only one who could work in silence with other disciples and the Madonna, according to the doctrine that the Zendic Magi had given to Jesus during his infancy, and to his precursor John the Baptist. The visit and the sojourn of the Magi Kings, astrologers, diviners, therapeutists, is connected with the didactic preparation of Jesus and of the Baptist. The Zendic Magi had learned from the Veda and condensed in the Avesta the secret doctrine. This was learned by an inner circle of Hebrews during the time of the deportation in Babylon, and transmitted orally and partly in writing in the Kabbalistic literature, and in the incomplete writings of the Ecclesiasticus, the Book of Wisdom, the Book of Daniel and the Book of Enoch: doctrines that passed to the secret Orders of the Therapeutists, and of the Essenes, and from them to John the Baptist and the Messiah. The Savior, as an envoy of God, had the integral gnosis, that is, the divine knowledge, but as a man he had to study the Holy Scriptures and the popular and secret interpretation of these. It is enough to know that Peter, James, and John in particular, were well informed about the esoteric doctrine of Israel and of its relationship with the teachings of the Sanctuaries of India and of Egypt at that time. So, along this line, walk we of Archeosophy and of the Lotus+Cross Initiatic Order, to serve God and the Humanity. Continue Reading

THE INITIATION FOR THE WOMAN AND THE FEMININE ADEPTHOOD

Initiation’ means to start a new life, to enter into contact with the world of the spirit, to see the Kingdom of God. It is the beginning of a work in which there are engaged all the forces of the physical body, of the soul and of the spirit, with the personal help of an instructor or Master, whose function is to bring a consciousness to the appointment of love with the Divinity.
We have amply explained what the Initiation consists of, so we will not repeat it, but we remember that in every human being, no matter whether woman or man, there are psycho-spiritual organs in correspondence with the hormone glands, which, once made to function, guarantee the vision of the hereafter, the memory of the past existences, and the condition of the saint who can converse with the Spirits of Light and secure the beatitude of Paradise, although continuing to live on the earth. In this state, in the old age the passage beyond the earthly frontier, will be like the flight of an angel. Such a condition is reached passing through the preparations and the gradual exercises, adapt to the grade of pupil or Disciple, of Initiate, that is of a person who has entered into the heart of the secret practices, and finally to the grade of Master and Perfect Master or Adept. Well, if all of this was reserved for the man, with Archeosophy it is the privilege also of the Woman. Therefore you, women who read these pages, know that your constancy in following the doctrine and the instructions shown in our booklets, will conduct you during this very life to the most regal and wonderful realizations.
We are used to value the greatness of a person by what he was and became through his personal effort and the help of someone. A youth who douses himself with gasoline, and transforms himself into a living torch to awaken his compatriots in order that they defend their liberty; a Saint Francis of Assisi and a Saint Clara, who choose the poverty, and offer themselves to mystical ascesis by helping their neighbor; a Saint Paul and a Joan of Arc, who face martyrdom for a supreme ideal; an Ipathia, a Pythagoras, a Saint Theresa of Avila, a Dante, a Virgil, a Buddha, and many others, they have all the qualities. Well, the Initiate and the female Initiate, enclose in a single person the best of them. The Initiation is the overcoming of a condition of human limitation, the arrival at a different state, in which, besides the wisdom, the charity, the fortitude, one has the gifts or charismata of the prophecy, of the thaumaturgy, of the bilocation, the vision of God.
The Lord awaits our visit because we are His Children. Jesus is the guide, the supreme Master, but the handling of the ship, excellent or poor according to our voluntary preparation, is ours. The landing at the end of our earthly life lived as Initiates, is done in pairs, because in the heart of God Father-Mother one enters in two. Continue Reading

WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN THE ORDINARY WOMAN AND THE INITIATED ONE

The ordinary woman has the same spiritual insufficiencies of the ordinary man. She is born and dies in the suffering, in thr drudgery, worried about the home, the family, far away from the religious studies and the extraordinary religious life. She ignores the science of the spirit, that is Archeosophy, and those methods that would save her from a gray, uncertain destiny, with wasted existences. The ordinary woman is a creature tossed about like the remains of a shipwreck lashed by the breakers of the cosmic life. She too is forced, like the ordinary man, to pass from existential cycle to existential cycle, ground by the destiny, immersed in the semi-consciousness and the frightening dreams of the crepuscular life of the death, until, terrified by the play of these demonic images, she flees again towards the earth, to be incarnated in a new body. Nor can she be saved by an elementary religiousness, based on the fear of a hell, that renders the individual a coward in front of God and their own conscience. It is not so for the Initiated woman, animated by the aspiration to cooperate with the divine intelligence, true superwoman, missionary of the Christ, in the full possession of the Wisdom, of the Charity and of the spiritual powers of the ultraphanic clairvoyance. The Samaritan Woman and the transcendental unity of all the religions

Christ spoke of that unique cult, of that transcendental unity of all the religions not to the masters of Israel, not to men, but to a woman, the only one capable of understanding certain theological subtleties and their gigantic purport. The Samaritan woman, even though spoilt by the bestial lustfulness of the man, remained struck and impressed by the words of Jesus and by the affectionate sweetness with which they had been uttered. And in fact, full of enthusiasm, she ran to the town of Samaria to diffuse the news that an unknown man had revealed to her ineffable and new things. A woman then was as important as John the Baptist? One, because he proclaimed that the Messiah had arrived, the other because she said that the Savior was announcing the unification of the cults to call for the aid of God in spirit and truth. But what did Jesus say to the Samaritan, that she remained so shaken and enthusiastic, as to make herself a missionary, spokeswoman of the Son of God? Let us read together the Gospel according to John the Apostle (IV, 1-30 and 39-42): “When the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John, though not Jesus himself did the baptizing, but his disciples, He left Judea and went back to Galilee. Now, it was necessary for Him to cross Samaria. He came, then, in a town of Samaria called Sichar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. There was Jacob’s well. Jesus, then, tired by His journey, sat with simplicity on the well. It was about the sixth hour. A Samaritan woman arrives, to draw water. Jesus says to her: – Give me to drink. – His disciples had gone into town to buy some food (sent by the Savior himself). The Samaritan woman, then, tells Him: – How is it that you, being a Jew, ask for drink from me that am a Samaritan? In fact the Jews are not on good terms with the Samaritans. – Jesus answers: – If you knew the gift of God and who is the one who tells you: Give me to drink, you would have asked of him, and he would have given you a living water. – The woman tells him: – Sir, you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. From where then do you take the living water? Are you perhaps greater than our father Jacob, who left us this well, from where he drank, and his offspring and their cattle? – Jesus answered and said: – Whoever drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but he who drinks the water I shall give him will not be thirsty anymore because the water I shall give him will become in him a spring of water that gushes for the eternal life. – The woman tells him: – Sir, give me some of this water, so that I shall not be thirsty anymore and must not come hither to draw anymore. – Jesus says to her: – Go, call your husband and come back here. – The woman answered: – I have no husband. – Jesus tells her: – You said well: I have no husband; in fact, you have had five husbands and the one you have now is not your husband. You spoke the truth. – The woman tells him: – Sir, I see that you are a prophet. Our fathers have worshiped on this mountain, while you Jews say that Jerusalem is the only place where one must worship. – Jesus tells her: – Woman, believe me: the hour is about to come when neither in Jerusalem you shall worship the Father, nor on this mountain. You shall worship what you do not know, we worship what we know: because the salvation comes from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: in fact this is how the Father wants his worshipers to be. God is spirit and those who worship must worship in spirit and truth. – The woman tells him: – I know that the Messiah, called the Christ, is about to come and that, when he is come, he will let us know all. – Jesus tells her: – It is I, I who am talking to you. – In the meantime his disciples arrived, and were surprised that he was talking to a woman, but no one of them said: – What do you look for or what do you speak with her? – The woman, then, left her water-jar and went back to the town and told the people: – Come and see a man who told me everything I did. Could he be the Christ? – The people left the town and came to him.”
This account testifies the importance that the Christ gave to the woman, and has the value of a message, ever real, for all women, until the end of the times and beyond. Esteem, love, trust towards the woman whom men did not consider at all, except for the bestial needs of the male. The same disciples remained confused and perplexed seeing the Master give so much of his confidence precisely to a woman. But they asked no questions, as a sign of respect towards their instructor. Who reports the episode is John the Evangelist, the dearest disciple, the esoteric, he whom Christ on the Calvary associated with His own Mother, and who must have been present during the conversation with the Samaritan woman. Please reflect on the connection: Christ, the Woman and John. It is from the latter that springs the esoteric Christianity, more than from Peter. To Peter was given the work to organize the exterior Church with a social character, as the initiative of a Universal Church was of St. Paul, in accordance with the conversation of Jesus with the Samaritan woman. DIGNITY AND MISSION OF THE WOMAN

The views expressed in relation to the woman have been up until now, unjust and hardly generous, dictated by materialistic and anti-feminist prejudices. It is the merit of the Christ and of the Archeosophical esoteric teachings, if the woman is looked upon with trust and placed on the same level as the man. It is the initiative of Jesus if the woman has been elevated to the missionary dignity, to the Initiation and to the Adepthood (hierarchic rank of spiritual values corresponding to the perfect Master).
The divine Revelation, concerning the relationship with God and the supernatural perfection, assures to the woman and the man the same duties and rights. The confirmation is given by the Old and New Testament: “God created the man to his own image … He created them male and female” (Genesis, 1:27). In the New Testament: “In fact you all have been baptized in Christ; you have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, neither slave, nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians, 3:27-28). And this is not all: from the way Jesus treated the woman, it is evident that He placed her totally on the same level as the man, and to the woman more than once unveiled the mysteries of the Kingdom of the Father.
We have the example in his relationship with the two sisters of Bethany, Mary and Martha, with the Samaritan woman at the well of Jacob, and in other cases, which we will examine at the proper time and place. Nevertheless, to the woman is forbidden the priesthood and therefore the capacity to receive the Orders. It is said, and wrongly, that the woman is different from the man. Different in what? Since all of the affirmations rest on the revelation, then we must underline that the Genesis did not say that God created to his image and likeness only the man, but the man and the woman. If we meditate on the four Gospels, it is precisely to the woman that Jesus communicates one of the truths most decisive for the religious future of the world: the unity of all  the cults, and to the woman He assigns the mission of announcing it to the peoples. He does not address it to a man, nor to a male priest, but a woman of the people, mother of a  family and sinner. The meeting of Jesus with the Samaritan woman by the well of Jacob is significant, because it shows the importance, in the spiritual life, of being a woman. If the Messiah unveiled this secret to the woman of Samaria, there must be a reason. Continue Reading

The Archeosophical Ascesis

It is the task of the Archeosophical Ascesis to point out to its adherents the itinerary to start on the path of perfection: an itinerary that must concern itself with the whole human being. The human person is not just emotive soul, mind-spirit and eros, but is also body, it has, in brief, material components. Religion, according to us, must strive for the salvation not of just a part of man, but of the whole man. This is confirmed by Jesus Christ who was a physician of bodies and souls, as is witnessed by his healings. We know that some religions place too much emphasis on material elements, while others, on the contrary, center on the spiritual nature of man and woman. An integral religion takes both of these components into account, because, if it were not so, it would condemn to failure the devotees who faithfully entrust themselves to it. The integral religion can be none other than esoteric Christianity, preceded by the exoteric, or popular, one for the masses. If once the great Clement of Alexandria stated: “I keep certain things under silence, by a willful choice, for fear of writing things which I have even avoided saying … I would not give … a sword to a child …” (‘Stromata’ I,1,14,3), today we believe it useful to break, albeit cautiously, this useless and harmful silence. Jesus in his times made use of the twofold language: a public speech and a private dialogue, and he said: “Do not give that which is holy unto the dogs, and do not throw the pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew, VII, 6). In two thousand years many things have changed, therefore we do not believe that we are all, without distinction all, dogs or swine. “For everything” – says Ecclesiastes (III, 1-7) – “there is its moment, and for every purpose comes its hour under the heaven … a time to keep silence and a time to speak”. Today, it seems to us that the moment has come to speak. At least to a certain extent, without disclosing to the profane world that which concerns ritualistic initiation. Archeosophy proposes an integral Ascesis, composed, that is, of other integrative asceses which we enumerate as follows:
1) – PHYSIOLOGICAL AND PSYCHOSOMATIC ASCESIS, for the physical well being and the maximum balance and performance of the body, its energies, for the purpose of making it a temple of the spirit: a necessary basis for preparing a good karma (destiny) in view of the ‘resurrection of the body’, healthy and beautiful.
2) – SOCIAL ASCESIS, that is the effort, exercise, the methodical and progressive action to become a perfect citizen and to make oneself a spokesman of a new society resting on the pillars of charity, non-violence, reciprocal economic, cultural and spiritual assistance.
3) – MYSTICAL ASCESIS, through an intense devotional life of dialogue with the Divinity; a process of inner transmutation leading to active ecstasy, to the vision of the Light. It is the Alchemist’s Opus in White, the entrance into the Waters of Life, the sojourn of the Saints:  the prelude to a new state of superior ascent towards the Kingdom of God.
4) – THEURGICAL ASCESIS, or progressing with the rites which attract the friendship and help of God, of the Christ, of the Mother, and of the helpful Spirits: Angelic, Archangelic and of the Universal Communion of the Adepts and the Saints.
5) – MAGICAL ASCESIS, the effort and action to dominate the forces of Nature. Read the definition of Magic we have given in our Encyclopedic Dictionary of Archeosophy ( Booklet 40 – first part).
6) – COSMIC ASCESIS, the action and advance towards a syntony or cosmicization with the whole: heavenly bodies, elements, heavens, etc.
7) – SAPIENTIAL OR INITIATIC ASCESIS, that is, the spiritual elevation of oneself through the Knowledge and particular practices leading to an inner transmutation and to the qualitative leap. It is the way to come out of the Waters of the phenomenal world, the going beyond the mystical state, it is the Christic walking above the Waters. It is the perennial wakefulness and the Alchemist’s Opus in Red, that is the royal state of who has finally exited from the game of creation.
All these forms of ascesis will be explained as doctrine and as practice in special booklets, for it would be untimely to insist in this panoramic and introductory treatment, whose only purpose is to inform you about the existence and substance of ‘Archeosofica’. It is obvious that the subject matter presented requires the didactic co-operation of a real Master, who instructs and who clarifies ideas. Only thus will the student transform himself or herself into a Disciple or Discipless, and receive the progressive human Initiation: the real and true integral priesthood, the opening of the consciousness to the spiritual influences of the Cosmic Initiator.
The Cosmic Initiator is only one: the Christ, He who will return to judge the living and the dead. Let us prepare ourselves in good time, before the Angel of Death comes and knocks at our door. He could arrive at any moment, and at any moment we must be ready for the great journey. It would be a serious tragedy not to have already become Children of the Most High, endowed with all the powers of the Adept. Charity and wisdom are a great patrimony, but are not enough to be saved. The crossing of the astral ocean implies meeting the ‘astral delinquency’, the snares of the Guardian of the Threshold, the state of sleep and dream, the tormenting oscillations between awakening and falling asleep again in a world of ghosts, illusions, then the plunge back into a new body here on earth. Only with the Ascesis can one gain self-awareness, the memory of past lives, the conscious rapport with the Reality, because Archeosophy with its practical, experimental methods, indicates how to change the consciousness, the quality of this consciousness, from bestial into human, and from human into superhuman, with the practice of pure esotericism, which is to say, transcendence, initiation and metaphysical realization.   Continue Reading

Jesus Christ and the High Initiation

Jesus Christ, the last Messiah in order of arrival on earth, did not deny the fundamental principles of the ancient Mysteries, both great and small, celebrated in the Temples of the High Initiation, did not remove the value of the purifications and the frightful trials which Orpheus, Socrates, Apuleius, Virgil, Homer, Plutarch, and many others, experienced, because Jesus has presented anew the analogous Orphic Mysteries, those of Mithras, etc., the comparable celebrations, the similar experiences of ancient Egypt, but according to a new technique. In the Sanctuaries of India, of Egypt and of Greece, the disciple was put by his instructor into a state of lethargic sleep for three days and three nights, after a preliminary physical and moral catharsis or purification, fasts and prayers. During the lethargy the soul (which is composed of the three principles: spirit, soul and eros, plus the subtle bodies, namely the causal, mental, emotional and etheric) separated itself from the physical body for a certain time, though remaining connected to the body by means of the tenuous silver cord (see in the Bible ‘Ecclesiastes’. XII, 6). Outside of the body the etheric double, that is, the whole of the interpenetrating subtle bodies, being more impressionable and moldable, was for the Initiator the matter on which he could act with his mental force, with his telepathic wave, that of a wise man. The Master imprinted images which worked on the subject throughout his whole life.
These images consisted of visions and trials of life after death, apparitions of demons, monsters, obstacles to overcome, in which took their part fire, earth, air and water, a judgment before the Gods and the final beatific vision. The Master was able to imprint his will indelibly, and on awakening after the long lethargic sleep, the disciple had acquired a fictitious wisdom (that of the master) and the certainty of having seen the hereafter, of having experienced death and resurrection (spiritual rebirth). With this lifelong suggestion, the disciple remained closely dependent on the master, considered himself twice born or re-born. After the coming of the Christ, spiritual rebirth is imposed by the Initiator, but strengthened by the Christic co-presence. The influence received as children in baptism and in Confirmation, when the subtle bodies of the newborn or the child are still impressionable, could be effective if the rites were celebrated in initiatic conditions and by initiates, and the disciple was not a child but one who has to cooperate freely, searching with personal effort. The purpose of the earthly master is the awakening of the soul, the spirit and the eros in us in the Light of God, and in all this the Christian has the privilege of being in the atmosphere, in the spiritual aura, of the Christ, in his ‘Mystical Body’, because the Man Jesus has been penetrated by the Word. There is still more. The Christ is now a force co-present in all humankind, regardless of whether one has been baptized or not. We are all ‘Christophers’, that is, carriers of Christ; carriers of a latent light; a Light that wants to throw light along our evolutionary way until God. Christ wants to see us nourished with the fruit of the Tree of Life, because He is an elder brother who will leave us autonomous after the purification, the spiritual rebirth and the reintegration. The ancient Initiation of the pagans was performed in the lethargic state and by suggestion of a Master, but the new kind of Initiation, the one taught by Christ, is performed in a waking state, in full consciousness, freely, avoiding the dependence of the disciple on the master, achieving out-of-body experiences by one’s own forces, with one’s own will, experiencing a real hereafter, not suggested, not hallucinatory, not hypnotic, but assisted by the inner Christic Light, and by the awakening projection of the earthly Initiator and of the Brothers of the ‘Initiatic Body’ of the Lotus+Cross Order.
